Set at the head of a quiet inlet overlooking the Goto Nada Sea, the church traces its origins to 1927, when a private home was purchased and converted into the first place of worship. As the building aged and the local population grew after the war, construction of a new church began in 1952.
Despite setbacks caused by landslides and typhoons, the present church was successfully completed in 1956, standing today as a testament to the community perseverance and devotion.
